Research points to two neurotransmitters namely norepinephrine and dopamine as the main factors that cause this disorder. In fact, it is the deficiency of these two that give rise to ADHD. These two chemicals are responsible for exchanging messages between the cells of the brain. In many cases ADHD is a genetic disorder and runs in families. Some children develop ADHD due to premature birth or being exposed to alcohol during pregnancy.

These people are easily distracted and cannot concentrate on their work.
